Vertex Magneto "Look-A-Like"
HEI "MAG" Distributor
The Vertex "MAG" distributor is a completely self-contained unit that needs only a 12-volt DC power source. The design incorporates the look of our Famous Vertex Magneto with a 42,000 Volt Internal HEI Coil and Magnetic Breakerless Ignition Control Module which provides maximum spark energy and efficiency. A smaller compact unit designed for tight engine compartments.

Surface mounted components for greater efficiency, less RF interference and improved ground plane.
Stable ignition timing through 8500 RPM.
Factory set 12º BTDC fixed centrifugal advance.
Withstands high temperature operation.
All aluminum CNC precision machined construction for added strength and reliability.
Totally maintenance free unit with easy 3-wire lead hookup and .8 ohm Ballast Resistor.
All units come standard with steel gear (A); bronze gear (B) optional at an additional cost.
Optional "polished" finish available; Add "D" to Part Number.
